When you enter your classroom, you will see a tab labeled "Class Overview". On this tab, you will see a section titled "Course Schedule". If the course material associated with this classroom includes unit tests or midterm/final exams, you will see those tests outlined in this section. For each test, you can either select a date when the test will be given or check a box to allow students to access the test at any time throughout the course.

Scheduled Test Date

If you choose to set a test date, then access to that test will be restricted to the 24 hour window on the test date. A link to the test will be available on that day within the Course Schedule area and students will see a button to "Take the Test" when they view that test in the course material.

No Test Date

If you choose to leave the test open, students in your class will have unlimited access to the test. Students will see a "Take the Test" button whenever they access the test in the course material.
