- Ruth May, the youngest, tells us that Africans are the Tribes of Ham and "Noah cursed all Ham's children to be slaves for ever and ever" (1.2.2).
- Sounds like a good guy, that Noah. Animal rights: yes! Civil rights: no!
- The only other white people she's seen in Africa are the Underdowns and Eeben Axelroot, who flies the airplane.
- Ruth May brought a bunch of comics with her, but she threw up on Donald Duck. Ick.
