It depends.

Each course has a "Course Length," which appears on the course's landing page when you're logged out. The course length assumes you're spending about 1 hour/day on the course (plus some homework time), so a course that says "18 weeks" is a semester-long course. Courses that say "3 weeks" are more like units that can be part of a larger course.

If you're working on the course with a teacher, you'll likely follow Shmoop's plan for 1 lesson = 1 day. But if you're on your own, you can work through the course at whatever pace you'd like.

Just don't pull too many all-nighters.
