- What do the characters sing about? What can they say through songs that they wouldn't be able to say in a normal voice, the way characters act in non-musicals? How would Grease be different if it weren't a musical?
- Are/were there cliques like the T-Birds or the Pink Ladies in your high school? How were your school groups similar or different?
- What do you make of Sandy's makeover? And Danny becoming a jock? Do Sandy and Danny change themselves too much in order to be in a relationship? Or are they making a healthy compromise?
- What do Sandy and Danny see in each other?
- Does Rizzo have an abortion or a miscarriage?
- Will the main characters keep in touch after high school? How do you think their lives will change after graduation?
- Did you watch 2016's Grease Live!? What changes did they make from the movie? Why did the producers make those changes?
