- The man is Lycaon, the first werewolf.
- Nico summons a wall of bones to guard them from the wolves as the wolves attack.
- In order to shadow-travel, Nico needs a shadow. But he has a plan.
- He taunts Lycaon, who transforms into a wolf and lunges at Nico.
- Nico stabs the wolf and he dissolves into a shadow.
- Suddenly, a voice booms out, "STOP THEM!" (16.73), and Nico hears a large bow being drawn.
- It's probably Orion, but before we can find out, Nico uses the shadow to take Reyna, Coach, and the statue away.
