- Reyna asks Piper, Aphrodite's daughter, if she can make sense of what Venus once told her: "You will not find love where you wish or where you hope" (57.28).
- Piper can't say for sure, but she tells Reyna not to worry about it. She's awesome how she is, she has plenty of friends, and she doesn't need a boy to make herself whole.
- Piper, on the other hand, does seem to need a boyfriend, so she returns to her cabin to snuggle with Jason.
- She's still sad about Leo, but Jason tells her that he believes Leo found a way to survive.
- He's out there somewhere.
