Agamemnon

You might think God would be a mentor, but he actually isn't that much of a guide here; he prefers to step in only at the end when the heroes finally run out of tricks. Agamemnon, on the other hand, makes an ideal mentor and father figure for Kevin. He likes him, he respects him enough to talk to him as an equal, he shows him all kinds of cool things—magic tricks, for instance—and he's ready to adopt the kid before the dwarves rob him and run off.
