Randall

The dwarves are quite foolish, and Randall, their self-proclaimed leader, is even more thickheaded than the rest of them. He sees the map as a means to an end. He wants to use it to get stinking rich—which, as Kevin points out, is a pretty big waste of such an awesome doodad. He and Kevin lock horns a number of times about it—most notably on the Titanic, right before the iceberg hits.

That said, Randall is never Kevin's enemy, and while he takes a while to warm to the kid, he clearly has some fondness for him. He takes his lumps at the end and stays friendly with the boy who has every right to tell him "I told you so," making him a foil and an obstacle sometimes, but nothing close to an antagonist.
