So what we're saying is that there's a lot of sex in this book. In fact, one of the main things it deals with is sex. In the very beginning of the book. we're faced with four accounts of sex—each explored in detail—as experienced the daughters of Laban.
Sex, sex, sexy sex.
Now, the details we get aren't that explicit. For the most part, it's just the kind of stuff that'll make you feel awkward if you're reading the book with your parents in the room. Oh, boy—I hope they don't read what I'm reading… that kind of thing.
But putting the sex aside, we should also mention how graphic this book gets when describing childbirth. We mentioned in the "Tough-o-Meter" that squeamish people might have a tough time trudging through it, and that's because the birthing scenes can be pretty nasty.
