If Christians stay faithful, God can do great things. Even though Paul went to prison, no one could lock up the gospel. He kept the faith and the faith kept on going.

The Pastor is right about one thing: Paul loved bragging about being persecuted. He took pride in being put upon, arrested, beaten, and all those good things. God came through for him in the end and kept the good news going, and that's all that mattered to him.
