The speaker's man has sent her one flower since they met. It's a nice flower, and it can speak, too (cool!). The flower tells the speaker that her fragile leaves enclose the man's heart. The speaker notes that people in love have used flowers forever, and asks why nobody has ever given her a perfect limousine. It's always her luck to just get flowers.
