Mister Mister
Kyrian is rich. He's powerful. And…that's about it. Like Acheron, Kyrian is a character from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunters series, so his characterization here is kept to a minimum. He has powers. He sees Nick has powers. And he decides to help him out. That's about it.
As Kyrian tells Nick, "You remind me of a kid I knew once. Hardheaded to the point no one could stand him" (6.138). Who is he talking about? Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes? Dennis the Menace? No, he's talking about himself, of course. Kyrian may be rich, but he may not have always been. Helping Nick is his way of giving back.
