Quote #7

HARRY: I have to go back, haven't I?

DUMBLEDORE: Oh, that's up to you.

HARRY: I have a choice?

DUMBLEDORE: Oh, yes! We're in King's Cross, you see. I think if you so decide, you'll be able to board a train.

HARRY: And where would it take me?

DUMBLEDORE: On.

Sitting in limbo, Harry realizes that he could opt to go back to the land of the living or continue on into the afterlife. Hmm, wonder what he'll choose?

Quote #8

DUMBLEDORE: Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living—and above all, all those who live without love.

Dumbledore's point here taps into one of the huge differences between him and Voldemort: Voldemort literally can't imagine anything worse than death, which is why he's spilled so much blood trying to become all immortal and powerful. However, Dumbledore thinks that living without love in your life is far, far worse than dying.

Quote #9

GINNY: Who is that Hagrid's carrying? Neville, who is it?

VOLDEMORT: Harry Potter is dead!

Naturally, Harry opts to go back to the land of the living to help finish Voldemort off…but he has to play dead for a little while so he can gain a little advantage over the Dark Lord.
