Godzilla

The antagonist is the character in conflict with the protagonist. Care to take a guess who (or what) takes on antagonist duties?

Godzilla is the antagonist because he's in conflict with Ogata and Dr. Serizawa. Well, to be fair, it's not like a radioactive dinosaur has a personal beef with these two guys. Instead, it threatens all of Japan and the people who live there. Since both Ogata and Serizawa are Japanese, this means they have a stake in the fight against the King of the Monsters.
