How It All Goes Down
- The day that Marion and Shiva are born, Dr. Stone asks the probationer, a young nurse-in-training, to go find Sister Mary Joseph Praise, who hasn't shown up for work.
- Dr. Stone says to remind Sister Mary Joseph Praise that he went back to work after amputating his own finger. Yes, you read that right.
- The probationer runs off to find Sister Mary Joseph Praise and relays the message, but the nun doesn't answer her. The probationer leaves her and goes to class.
- That afternoon, Stone goes to the nurses' dorms to find Sister Mary Joseph Praise, and he sees that she's in terrible shape. Okay, actually, the scoop is that she's totally having a baby… which is not usually expected from a nun.
- Stone loses control and acts helpless while Matron tries to deliver the baby. Finally, she realizes that Sister Mary Joseph Praise needs a C-section, and she turns over the patient to Dr. Stone.
