Tim Burton's Batman is a much darker vision, and many people die, although most off screen. Women are killed by poisoned cosmetics, a man falls into a vat of acid, a warehouse blows up with dozens of people inside, and someone falls to his death off a giant building, and Jack Nicholson makes fart noises.
