Selena and Chantell have been looking forward to going to Disneyworld for months… [Fireworks above the DisneyLand caste]

00:17

But they’ve been waiting outside their hotel for the park shuttle for an hour…

00:21

..the old lady next to them keeps telling longwinded stories about the good ol’ days... [Old woman telling stories to Selena and Chantell]

00:26

…and it’s so hot, even the mosquitoes are breaking a sweat.

00:29

Yeah, it’s a pretty non-magical day in the Magic Kingdom.

00:32

Chantell is fed up. [Chantell sat on a bench looking fed up]

00:33

She tells Selena that she’s sick of waiting, and she’s going to walk to the park, whether

00:37

her sister wants to come or not.

00:38

Selena tells Chantell she’s crazy.

00:40

The park is seriously far from their hotel, plus, there are gators on the way. [An aligator lurking in a field]

00:44

Chantell is so sick of waiting she doesn’t even care about gators…

00:47

And she doesn’t think the park is really all that far.

00:49

Selena is determined to prove her sister wrong. [Selena stood up at the bus stop]

00:51

She doesn’t want Chantell to end up as gator-bait…

00:53

And it’s generally fun to prove your sister wrong.

00:56

Selena drags Chantell over to the big map that sits by the shuttle stop. [Selena showing Chantell the map of the park]

00:59

She points out their hotel, and then points out the park.

01:02

Surely, this will prove to Chantell that it’s way too far to walk.

01:05

But Chantell isn’t buying it.

01:08

To her, the park and the hotel look close on the map. [Chantell adamant she can walk from the hotel to the park]

01:11

Selena tells her sister that she’s got to think about the scale of the map.

01:14

Chantell laughs, saying that maps don’t have scales. [a little fish swimming]

01:17

They aren’t fish.

01:18

Selena rolls her eyes, wonder for the millionth time how they're related, and shows Chantell

01:22

what she means by map scale.

01:24

Down in the corner, there’s a key that shows that every inch on the map equals one mile [Map key indicating 1 inch = 1 mile]

01:27

in real life.

01:28

Selena puts a finger next to the little ruler on the scale to get a rough idea of how much

01:32

an inch is.

01:33

Next, she uses her finger to count off the number of inches between the hotel and the [Selena counting how many miles from the hotel to the park on the map]

01:37

park.

01:38

Turns out there’s 15.

01:39

15 inches equals 15 miles, she tells Chantell.

01:42

That’s a long stretch of swampy, mosquito-y, gator-y road…

01:46

Especially on a day that feels like some giant somewhere just took a really long, steamy [Man taking a steamy shower]

01:50

shower.

01:51

Chantell groans and gives in.

01:53

There’s no way she’s going to walk 15 miles….

01:55

And the shuttle can’t be too much longer, can it?

01:57

Besides, the wait won’t be total torture. [Chantell and Selena sit back on the bus stop bench]

01:59

That is until the old lady next to them decides its time for one more story of the good

02:03

ol’ days.
