Brutus committed suicide on this day in 42 BCE. History remembers him most as the guy who said, "We should totally just stab Caesar," but he was also a poet. He regularly dropped his rhymes on audiences at local libraries. Unfortunately, none of his verse is around today. Or maybe that's a good thing; historians suggest that he was considerably better at conspiring than writing.
