jan 23 Learn More Salvador Dalí Dies

On this day in 1989, Salvador Dalí died in Spain at the age of 84. As a young student at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid, Dalí frequently clashed with his teachers: first being suspended for starting a riot over the academy's crappy taste in professors, and later being expelled just before finals for proclaiming that none of the professors were good enough to examine him. Pro tip: if you want to be like Dalí, don't declare your teachers worthless and get tossed out of school; grow a super-weird moustache instead.
