Aside from some adult film stars showing their love for Young Frankenstein in a totally SFW picture there doesn't seem to be much Young Frankenstein cosplay out there.

That doesn't mean the movie isn't enduringly popular. People lined up to see the 40th anniversary screening in Beverly Hills. It's got to be one of the most-quoted movies ever ("What knockers!"; "Walk this way..."; "Werewolf? There wolf!") Even if you haven't seen it, you know all the stars in this movie. Gene Wilder is the Willy Wonka. Peter Boyle, who plays the monster, is Raymond's dad on Everybody Loves Raymond. Madeline Kahn feels flames, flames on the side of her face as Mrs. White in Clue, not to mention her sultry turns as Trixie Delight in Paper Moon and Lili von Shtuppin in Blazing Saddles. Cloris Leachman holds the record for primetime Emmys, and hoofed it (horse pun intended) at age 82 on Dancing with the Stars.

Of course, the biggest fans over the years have been the critics, who regularly include the movie near the top of all heir "Best Comedy Films" lists. Even that most demanding audience of all—college students—agree.
