Yeah we know the word "sex" doesn't pop up anywhere in this short poem, but man is it lecherous (sex-loving, lustful). In case you haven't already guessed, in this poem hunting is a dirty little metaphor for chasing a girl. And no, the speaker isn't talking about playing tag. The whole bit about hunting makes the speaker seem like a killer—a guy trying to capture something and dominate it. This is no sweet lovemaking, folks.
