Paramount Pictures and Star Trek have been together since the beginning. They go together like Biggie and JAY-Z.

Paramount ranks among the most illustrious production companies ever. Founded in 1912, the company is the fifth-oldest film studio in the world. These guys have produced too many films to list, but here's a few to try on for size: Titanic, Forrest Gump, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

'Nuff said. These peeps produce hits.

This studio has produced the Star Trek series since it first popped up on television. Since the beginning, there was tension between studio heads and creator Gene Roddenberry, but Roddenberry ceased to work on the film series after the disappointing reception of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

By the time The Voyage Home came out, the relationship between the filmmakers and the studio was running like a well-oiled machine. In fact, Paramount Pictures continues to produce the Star Trek film series to this day.
