Susan Norton Timeline & Summary

Susan is born around 1952 to Ann and Bill Norton.
Susan becomes an artist and makes some sales of her paintings locally, hoping to eventually go to New York. If she can make it there, she can make it anywhere, undead or otherwise.
Susan dates Floyd Tibbets, a banker—but eventually their relationship cools.
Susan meets Ben Mears, a famous author visiting the Lot, and falls in love with him. Poof, just like that.
Dating Ben strains Susan's relationship with her mother, who prefers Floyd Tibbets. (Why don't you marry him then, Ann?)
A couple nights later, Susan has sex with Ben in the park.
After a fight with her mom, Susan decides to move out of the house.
Ben and Matt Burke try to convince Susan that a series of strange events in the Lot are related to vampires at the Marsten House. She doesn't believe them, because she thinks she's in a romance novel. Bad mistake, kid.
Eventually, Susan decides to go to the Marsten House and stake the vampire if he's there. Bad mistake, kid.
On the way, Susan meets Mark Petrie, and they team up. Third bad mistake, kid.
Straker catches Susan and Mark and feeds Susan to the vampire Barlow.
Susan, now a vampire, feeds on several townspeople, including Sheriff Hubert McCaslin and her own mother.
Barlow, his hideout discovered, leaves Susan in his coffin at the Marsten House.
Ben stakes Susan.
