- Remember Harry's vision? The one of Marion on the pier?
- Harry does, and he conjures it up one more time.
- He runs toward Marion on the pier, but when he reaches the end, she's gone.
- He takes a step backward and falls into darkness.
- Harry wakes up in the hospital, and he's half the man he used to be.
- His left arm is a bandaged stump.
- He cries, because he knows Marion won't come for him.
- Meanwhile, Ty, exhausted, lies in bed in prison, twitching, going through drug withdrawal, and missing his mommy.
- In New York, Sara's friends visit her in the hospital.
- They're shocked to find her rail thin, her head almost shaved.
- And Marion lies on the couch in her apartment and cuddles her new wad of cash and/or drugs.
- Finally, we see Sara lying in her hospital bed, still imagining herself on television.
- "We got a winner. We got a winner," the audience chants.
- Tappy tells her she's won the grand prize: her son, cleaned up, sober, and successful.
- In her vision, they tell each other they love each other, and the audience cheers.
- Fade to black.
