• Little Boy watches an automobile approach and hit a telephone pole in front of his house. Harry Houdini gets out and performs magic for the Little Boy and his family. As Houdini leaves, Little Boy says "Warn the Duke."
• Little Boy gets a letter from his father in the Arctic.
• Little Boy watches Coalhouse Walker play Ragtime piano music at his family's house.
• Little Boy sees Little Girl for the first time on the streets of his town, but doesn't recognize her from the silhouettes that his Uncle had.
• Little Boy goes with his father to a NY Giants game.
• Little Boy goes with his family to Atlantic City, where he meets Little Girl and the two become inseparable.
• After Father dies, Little Boy moves with Sarah's son and Little Girl to California with Mother and Tateh.
