Ode to the Ordinary Object
Pablo Neruda wrote four books of odes, all of them taking down the ancient Greek tradition by praising really ordinary things: apples, lemons, wine, even laziness. If you were to come across "Ode to My Socks" and not know who had written it, that sort of smirking but really sincere attitude toward to the ode and the praise for the ordinary would give Neruda away as the author.
