Bob Harris (Bill Murray)’s Timeline and Summary

Bob arrives in Japan to shoot a Suntory commercial.
He sees Charlotte for the first time in the elevator at the Park Hyatt hotel.
He shoots the whisky commercial.
Kazu sends a "premium fantasy woman" to Bob's hotel room. It's, um, awkward.
He sees Charlotte in the hotel bar, and she sends over a bowl of snack mix.
Two nights later, he actually speaks to Charlotte at the bar.
Bob joins Charlotte and her friends for a night of drinking, partying, and karaoke around Tokyo.
On his day off, Bob plays golf.
Charlotte shows Bob her injured toe at lunch (gross), and he takes her to the hospital.
That night, they meet up with her friends again, but quickly ditch them. Instead, they watch an old movie in Bob's hotel room and talk about their spouses and anxieties.
Bob films an appearance on a popular late-night talk show.
Bob sleeps with the lead singer of Sausalito. Oops.
Charlotte finds out about Sausalito. She and Bob still have lunch. It’s also awkward.
Bob and Charlotte reconcile during a late-night fire alarm at the Park Hyatt. Afterward, they have a drink in the bar. Bob tells Charlotte he doesn't want to leave.
The next morning, Bob says adios to Charlotte and heads for the airport. He's super-bummed.
Spotting Charlotte on the street, Bob hops out of the car, runs to her, kisses her, and whispers something in her ear that elicits a tearful smile and an "Okay" from Charlotte. We don't hear what he says.
Bob, all sorts of happy, gets back in the car and continues his trip to the airport.
