James Bond

James Bond is our protagonist, for better or worse. He's slick, suave, clever, and strong. And even when shooting a gang of Bulgarian thugs, he never has a hair out of place. He's also basically a personification of British imperialism who has no problem with violence against women or letting the locals die to protect him. But who said protagonists have to be perfect? The flawed ones are the most interesting.
