Ben Day Timeline & Summary

In 1985, Ben is humiliated at school and goes to a local hangout to blow off steam.
There, Ben talks really big, saying he got into a fight with Trey Teepano, noted Satan worshiper, when all Ben really did was fall off his bike.
Trey shows up, and instead of calling Ben's bluff, he takes him to their mutual friend Diondra's house.
Diondra is Ben's girlfriend. She's manipulative, abusive, and pregnant. Lovely combo.
Diondra tells Ben there's a rumor he molested a young girl at school named Krissi Cates.
Ben denies it.
Trey and Diondra give Ben some drugs and persuade him to participate in an animal sacrifice, killing a cow in a field.
Afterward, Diondra says she wants to run away with Ben and the baby.
Ben takes Diondra to his house to get his money.
When Ben's sister Michelle overhears Diondra saying she's pregnant, Michelle threatens to tell their mother, Patty.
So Diondra strangles Michelle. Yikes.
Ben takes the fall for the crime and keeps Diondra's identity a secret so that she can raise their daughter.
When Libby finds out the truth, Ben is let out of jail. He wants to rebuild his relationship with his sister.
