  • Ignatius writes a letter under Mr. Levy's name insulting a distributor, Mr. Abelman.
  • Mr. Levy fires Ignatius for trying to organize a revolt by Levy Pants's factory workers.
  • Mr. Levy is sued by Mr. Abelman for $500,000 over the insulting letter; Mr. Levy thinks that Ignatius wrote the letter, and eventually confronts him.
  • Ignatius convinces Mr. Levy that Miss Trixie wrote the letter.
  • Mrs. Levy had taken Miss Trixie under her wing and prevented her from retiring; therefore, the lawsuit now appears to be her fault.
