Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejo)’s Timeline and Summary

We meet Peppy at George's premiere, where she practically falls on top of him and is thrust in front of the cameras.
Peppy uses her five minutes of fame to her advantage and gets a role as an extra in one of George's films at Kinograph.
Peppy and George have too much chemistry on set and he keeps screwing up.
George catches Peppy romancing his suit jacket; he draws a beauty mark on her chin with an eyeliner pencil.
Moving up through the ranks, Peppy begins making more films.
She runs into George right after he's quit at Kinograph; she's just been hired.
Peppy's big talkie film, Beauty Spot, has the same release date as George's self-produced silent.
She gives an interview, saying, "people are tired of the old actors," which George overhears.
Peppy sees George's film, which makes her cry.
