Aladdin

Okay, this one's a no-brainer. Aladdin is the guy whose name is up on the marquee, and he's the dude we're rooting for from the first moment he appears on screen. Sure, he might be a bit of a thief and a liar, but we still understand and identify with him and really, really hope things come out all right for him in the end.
