Agamemnon is totally proud of all the battleships named after him. (He's got little models of them all over his room.)

In the universe of Dune, Agamemnon is the name of a big crazy cyborg dictator who helps take over the galaxy. He's actually supposed to be a descendant of the original Agamemnon as well. (Agamemnon is very proud of this descendant's overachieving.)

Sometimes the big guy rocks it out to "Agamemnon" by the Violent Femmes.

In the Marvel Comics universe, Agamemnon was the founder of the Pantheon, a super hero team who used chill with the Hulk. (Note: Agamemnon wrote a formal complaint to Marvel when it turned out that his comic namesake was a traitor.)

Agamemnon is still ticked off that they gave his name to a "Trojan" asteroid. (He plans to launch an armada against the astronomers who did it any day.)

Mega-famous choreographer, Martha Graham, created a dance piece called Clytemnestra in 1958, which tells the whole bloody story from the queen's perspective.
